HocTat and access
HocTat is a knowledge and content platform. Anyone may read publicly available articles and content without creating an account. Accounts are needed only for certain member features; registering does not automatically grant publishing, editorial or administration rights. New services may have separately published terms. Viewing public pages alone does not replace any separately required data-processing consent.
Accounts and permissions
Provide accurate information you may lawfully use, protect credentials and do not impersonate others or access their accounts without authorization. Report suspected compromise via a verified channel. Applicable age, legal-capacity and parental/guardian requirements must be met; applicable legal requirements must be met. Privileged editorial and administrative operations require assigned permissions.
Content and copyright
Articles, images, designs and other materials may belong to HocTat or their respective rights holders. Reading, linking and lawful quotation with attribution are permitted; unauthorized wholesale copying or republication is not. Authorized contributors must have rights to submitted materials and must not infringe others' rights or unlawfully reveal personal data.
Contributors retain rights they own. To operate authorized editorial functions, they permit HocTat to store, back up, format, review and display approved content. No automatic copyright transfer or unrestricted commercial license is created. Broader rights or compensation require a separate agreement.
Prohibited conduct
No malware, spam, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized access, bypassing security controls, unlawful personal-data collection or deliberate service disruption. Automated access must respect lawful permissions and must not overload the service. Lawful linking and quotation remain permitted.
Editorial review and enforcement
Authorized submissions may be reviewed, revised, rejected, hidden or removed for quality, legal, copyright or safety reasons. Submission does not guarantee publication. Reasonable, proportionate access restrictions may apply to violations or safety risks, with notice and opportunities to respond as reasonably practicable and legally required. Restriction, account closure and personal-data erasure are distinct processes.
Information, outside links and availability
Published information is for general learning and reference, not individualized professional advice. Readers should verify sources and context before consequential decisions. Third-party sites have their own terms. Service maintenance, changes or outages may occur; nothing here excludes non-waivable statutory rights or duties.
Privacy
A separately approved HocTat Privacy Notice governs disclosure of personal-data processing. These Terms do not provide blanket consent for unrelated purposes.
Changes, contact and complaints
Approved versions need a visible effective date. Material changes require suitable notice or renewed agreement where applicable. Contact contact@hoctat.com for general inquiries, content and copyright matters; accounts@hoctat.com for account, sign-in and authentication support; and privacy@hoctat.com for privacy and personal-data requests. Applicable law and non-waivable rights remain in force.
